This workshop on machine learning for cybersecurity aims to bring together researchers from academia and industries, especially early career researchers and PhD students. The workshop embraces approaches addressing cybersecurity challenges in general, and aims to highlight the latest research trends, such as adversarial machine learning, deep learning and advanced persistent threat. The goal of the workshop, which will last for one day, is to inform the community of current state-of-the-art practices and emerging trends, and build academic links with practitioners in the cybersecurity area. The workshop is sponsored by Gulf Science, Innovation and Knowledge Economy Programme of the U.K. Government and CommNet2.
